KBC Advisors is seeking an Accounting Manager to own the company’s accounting policies and procedures. We offer a dynamic, innovative workplace environment with a company that is disrupting the commercial real estate industry.
As an Accounting Manager at KBC, you will partner with our finance team and market leaders to establish and evolve our accounting processes. You will be responsible for enhancing our internal accounting practices and educating leadership across the company on best practices and processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Evolve accounting practices for multiple service lines, including:
Enhance A/R efforts and reduce aged A/R
Work with Treasurer to establish financial close cadence and timely publication for results
Implement procedures around financial entries, review process and approvals
Develop daily bank reconciliation cadence
Proper recognition and tracking of revenue activities within their unique P&Ls
Assist with the payroll process and ensure proper financial recognition
Support the annual tax return process & local tax authority payments
Assist with the expense approval process
Run allocation process and make manually financial adjustments
Partner with Finance Team on other ad hoc reporting needs
Manage accounting staff who are responsible for financial reporting, billing, collections, and payroll
Preferred Qualifications
Proficient in accounting and finance software solutions (ie Quickbooks, NetSuite)
Certified Public Accountant designation preferred
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field required
5+ years of relevant work experience in operational accounting role
Salary Range
$98,000 - $132,000
