KBC Advisors is seeking a Design and Engineering Professional to support our team in Dallas, TX. We offer a dynamic, innovative workplace environment with a company that is disrupting the commercial real estate industry.
As a Design and Engineering Professional at KBC, you will be responsible for helping drive industrial development projects from evaluation of sites to completion of design. You will use your strong civil and architectural design experience and understanding of the entitlement process to help drive industrial development projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct site assessment, assist in planning, review entitlements and oversee horizontal design for development opportunities with KBC offices around the country, including interaction with internal stakeholders and external clients
Prepare both high-level and detailed site layouts under direction from project leaders
Research and coordinate due diligence, development ordinances and permitting for design and construction, including feasibility analysis
Develop thorough understanding of rules, regulations and codes for each project to identify and track critical project issues
Manage and direct value engineering efforts of consultants
Maintain internal project trackers for team organization
Implement 3D modeling software and capabilities for long-term operations and solutions
Collaborate with civil and architecture consultants for final design presentation and submission
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously
Strong work ethic and compatibility with a team environment
Proficiency with AutoCAD
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
Civil Engineering P.E. license or E.I.T. certification
5+ years of relevant design/engineering experience, preferably in land development
