Kirk joined KBC to lead Capital Markets initiatives in the Mountain West region. Kirk brings a broad range of experience to KBC including execution of industrial sales, equity placement, joint ventures and structured financing for institutional investors and developers. His broad expertise in the field has been shaped by tenures with principals and developers, investment advisors, consulting firms and brokerage companies, which enables him to advise clients from every angle of a deal. Prior to KBC, Kirk was a Senior Director within Cushman & Wakefield’s (C&W) National Industrial Advisory Group where he executed more than $7B in transactions. In his time at C&W he was a member of both the Americas and Arizona’s #1 Industrial Sales team and NAIOP Arizona Investment Sales team for four consecutive years. Kirk was also a Managing Director at Mark-Taylor Residential where he established a capital markets platform, sourced joint venture equity and oversaw a portfolio of assets valued at more than $1B. In prior roles, he specialized in Investment Sales at Colliers and at CBRE oversaw the Southwest Region of the Financial Consulting Group. Kirk is an active member of NAIOP, both locally and through the National Forum and the Urban Land Institute. Kirk received his bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of North Dakota. He also holds a Sales License from the Arizona Department of Real Estate. On a personal level, Kirk was born and raised in North Dakota. Today, he resides in Scottsdale, Arizona with his wife and daughter. In his spare time, he enjoys staying active and doing anything outdoors—golfing, skiing, hiking, camping and more—and is happiest spending time with family.
