Please welcome our newest team member, Lem Kong. Lem is part of the Capital Markets team located in Century City, CA and will be supporting the team in all aspects of underwriting and due diligence. Lem joins KBC from CenterCal Properties, where he spent the last 20 months as the Director of Acquisitions. Prior to CenterCal, Lem worked at Regency Centers (a public Shopping Center REIT) for five years as a Sr. Manager in the Financial Services group (underwriting, financial analysis, asset management). Before Regency, Lem was a VP supporting JLL's Real Estate Investment Banking team in the Los Angeles office for over five years. Lem was born and raised in the Hinsdale, IL (southwest suburb of Chicago) and completed his BA in Economics from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana. Lem also received his Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2009. During his time away from work, Lem likes visiting museums, attending concerts and live music shows, watching various films and movies, commiserating with fellow Chicago sports fans, and the obligatory "long walks on the beach."
